Overview
The SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM®) certification equips Scrum Masters with the skills to facilitate Agile teams in a scaled enterprise environment.
Unlike traditional Scrum Master training, this program focuses on team collaboration across Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and driving value delivery at scale.
Participants learn servant leadership, facilitation techniques, and PI Planning leadership required to enable successful program-level execution.

Facilitate team-level and program-level Scrum practices.
Coach teams to deliver value continuously.
Lead and participate in PI Planning events.
Improve flow using Kanban for teams and ARTs.

Eligibility Requirements
Education:
Secondary degree (high school diploma or equivalent).
Experience:
No prior scrum experience is required.
Training:
Minimum 16 contact hours of formal scrum education (Fulfilled through iTEK Learn Program).
Examination Details
Exam Format:
45 Questions (Multiple Choice, Drag & Drop, Matching)
90 Minutes (1.5 Hours) total exam duration.
Validity:
1 Year [$100 renewal fee annual required]
